The "Meridian II" at Belfast
The "Meridian II" at Belfast
The coaster “Meridian II” loading scrap at Queens Quay, Belfast. Low-air draft coasters were starting to become common (although still not the norm) at the time. Another relatively unusual feature was the bow thruster (now commonplace) the presence of which is indicated by the circular icon, on the bow, below the name. The bow thruster assists in maneuvring especially during arrival and departure.
