River crossing pylon at Stanah
River crossing pylon at Stanah
This pair of pylons (including the one on the far bank) have to be so tall to be able to span the river Wyre. The tallest pylons in the UK are a pair of pylons which span the Thames at Thurrock, next to the Queen Elizabeth II bridge.
