In addition to the all-weather boat J3729 : Launching Newcastle lifeboat (4 of 7), Newcastle has a “D” class inshore lifeboat “Aldergrove II”. The boat has been tasked to assist a person trapped on the rocks (on a flood tide) close to the cliffs near the Bloody Bridge J3826 : Bloody Bridge, south of Newcastle.
