Did you say sand at Morecambe?
This sweep of sandy beach is an entirely artificial creation. Two stone groynes were built to stop the currents and then thousands of tons of sand were brought in from St Anne's, near Blackpool. It certainly looks to be appreciated by the Easter holidaymakers and day trippers.
