St Colman's Cathedral, Cobh
St Colman's Cathedral, Cobh
This striking cathedral is the cathedral church of the diocese of Cloyne. Designed by Pugin, it is one of the finest examples of Victorian Gothic architecture to be found anywhere. Its prominent position overlooking the harbour meant that it would have dominated the last views of Ireland sighted by the many emigrants who passed through the port. LinkExternal link
