taken 16 years ago, near to Botolph Claydon, Buckinghamshire, England

Source of stream, Finemere Hill
The ditch amidst the bushes and trees just off Three Points Lane is the source of a stream that flows off the northern slope of Finemere Hill, SP7222 : Finemere Hill.

This hill is a watershed between the Thames to the south, and the Ouse to the north. This stream however flows north briefly, then west, and then south to join the River Ray just north of Grendon, SP6921 : Meeting of streams of the River Ray, which itself joins the River Cherwell, which flows into the River Thames in Oxford.
