Noticeboard, Permissive Footpath near Shipton Lee
This notice board is at the beginning of a permissive footpath off the minor road between Shipton Lee and Greatmoor, SP7220 : Footpath near Shipton Lee. The notice says:

This route passes through a series of species rich hay meadows, now an uncommon sight in Buckinghamshire. The traditional management of late hay cutting and aftermath grazing has allowed many species of flowering plants to survive here. As a result yellow rattle, lady's smock, knapweed and many more, can be seen in abundance in the early summer. Because of their botanical interest the meadows are designated as a Country Wildlife Park.

This access has been provided under the Department for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs farm conservation scheme.
