At this point on the south embankment of the single track railway between Bicester and Steeple Claydon, see SP6825 : Railway line near Calvert, was the site of a bridge that carried the Great Central Railway, SP6825 : Dismantled railway, over what was then the Oxford to Bletchley railway line but there is no sign of the bridge now.
