Sulwath Mud & Sand Flats
Sulwath Mud & Sand Flats
View westward off Sulwath (formerly Dornock Fisheries) across the mud and sand flats of the Solway Firth. In the distance can be seen the promontories that were linked until 1935 by the 1.1mi/1.7km Solway Railway Viaduct between Annan in Dumfries & Galloway and Bowness in Cumbria.
