SJ3828 : Very overgrown drainage ditch

taken 15 years ago, near to Lower Hordley, Shropshire, England

Very overgrown drainage ditch
Very overgrown drainage ditch
There is a drainage ditch under that vegetation. This is the floodplain of the River Perry. The soil is very fertile, but must be drained to prevent it turning back into the marshland that it once was.
