An outing for President
An outing for President
Steam narrowboat President is setting out on a trip to Etruria from its home at the museum, with butty Kildare alongside. Leaving the dock is complicated by the need to raise the counter-weighted vertical lift bridge that was relocated there from Proof House Basin where it was installed by the Great Western Railway in 1922.
