taken 15 years ago, 3 km from Milarrochy, Stirling, Scotland

Deer fence at Rowardennan Forest
Deer fence at Rowardennan Forest
This is the easternmost edge of Rowardennan Forest, which is now being re-planted with silver birch. To keep deer off the saplings, the old, broken down fencing (right) has been supplemented with a new, 6-foot mesh fence (left).
