SYHA Youth Hostel, Tongue
SYHA Youth Hostel, Tongue
This smart SYHA youth hostel was opened in 1946 and completely refurbished with smaller rooms, family facilities etc., reopening in 2006. It is in a stunning position on the Kyle of Tongue, with the 'new' causeway to Durness running past the gate. It was originally a hunting lodge for the Duchess of Sutherland.
