This five storey tower now adjoins a 19c residence on its western side. Angle-loops are noticeable on both corners facing the camera, and unseen are chimney stacks for fireplaces on the south side. Originally a seat of the Roches, it later passed to the Lindsays. No date for when it was built, but a document of 1650 mentions it having a "little narrow barbican".
