Coolhull Castle
Coolhull Castle
Coolhull Castle dates from probably the 16th century. It is of usual configuration because it had a distinct living/residence area with a fortified tower at its entrance. It has given rise to a particular "class" of castle here in Ireland called the "Coolhull" type.
