Showing (l-r) the Salutation (now a gift shop, but originally the Victorian stables to Aber Ia, the house on the seafront which is now the Portmeirion Hotel), The Gloriette (built in 1965-6, incorporating four columns salvaged by Clough Williams-Ellis from the demolition of Hooton Hall, Cheshire), and Telford's Tower, a holiday cottage built in 1957-8.
