taken 15 years ago, near to Upper Soudley, Gloucestershire, England

Steam engine, Dean Heritage Museum
A four column beam engine of very simple design that was used at the nearby Lightmoor Colliery to haul waste up the tip. It spent many years in the open air at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff but is much better treated on its home turf.
