Penllywn Tramway Bridge (Pont Dramffordd Penllywn)
The bridge provides a foot crossing linking the village of Wattsville to the Sirhowy Country Park. Spanning the Sirhowy River. It is a Grade 2 listed structure, first built in 1824 to carry the tramway from the local Risca mines to the spoil heaps on Mynydd Machen Mountain. The bridge was closed to pedestrians for many years, in a state of disrepair. It has undergone a complete restoration programme and is now back to its original glory.
