Flooding at Dublin Road, Omagh
The cars from Eakin's garage on the left (now Gormleys on the Dromore Road) had to be evacuated. I think the car in the middle is a Vauxhall Cresta which was favoured by farmers as it had a good towing capacity, with a 3 figure HZ registration and the one to the right is a Hillman Minx. What is interesting in this picture is the stone wall, pillars and entrance gates to the right which would have been part of the old railway goods yard which does not now exist.
