Curry Moor Pumping Station
Curry Moor Pumping Station
Land drainage pumping station on the Somerset Levels. The circular building, left, houses a preserved steam engine that drove an Appold vertical axis centrifugal pump. The building to the right houses a pair of more modern diesel engines that are still in commission.
