Kings Head pub (site of) Cathay Street, Rotherhithe, London, SE16
Believed this was about half way down the street on the east side. Opened 1767 and destroyed by fire in 1832, after which the local authorities would not grant it a licence. Rebuilt as number 10, Love Lane (Cathay Street) and demolished after WWII. In 1952 Cathay House, pictured, was opened being the first post war house in the area. Bottom right corner can be seen part of the remains of The Moated House built 1350.
