St Andrew's Church, Ennistymon
St. Andrews Church of Ireland was always called ‘the New Church’ by the people of Ennistymon. It was built in 1831 but was closed for Church services in 1964 and in 1983 the local cultural group, the Comhaltas Ceoltoiri accepted the gracious offer of the Church Board of St. Andrew’s Church. The building was extensively renovated, and is now a community facility called St. Andrews Teach Ceol (House of Music).
