Light snow on Bridge Street, Banbridge
Most of the snow had melted by the morning of the 21st December although minor roads were still problematic. The bitterly cold wind didn't seem to repel any shoppers buying last minute(ish) presents and supplies - with the town so busy I dare not imagine what 'The Outlet @ Bridgewater Park' Link
(Archive Link
) was like - given that it has supposedly sucked the life out of the town...

December snow, Belfast 2009 :: J3774
The snow, which had affected London and the South East reached Belfast overnight on 19/20 December 2009. Not particularly heavy, it seemed to cause minimal disruption on a Sunday morning. There was a slow thaw once the sun had risen.
