The ruins of St John's church
The ruins of St John's church
There used to be five churches in the vicinity of the village of Beachamwell of which only one - St Mary's > Link - is still in use. St Mary's church is located in the village centre. Not much remains of the ruined All Saints' church > Link which is south-west of the village, and nothing but earthworks remain of St Mary's > Link by Caldecot Farm, further to the south-west. St Botolph's church > Link in the hamlet of Shingham, south-east of Beachamwell, is redundant and privately owned, and only the ruined tower and sections of wall remain of St John's by St John's Farm > Link at the west end of the village.
