The "Ballygrainey" at Belfast
The "Ballygrainey" at Belfast
Once a common sight but now part of history. The “Ballygrainey” - a Kelly’s coaster, registered in Belfast and (probably with a local crew) discharging coal to waiting lorries at Queen’s Quay.
John Kelly Limited, Belfast. Coal merchant and former shipowner

Once the biggest of its kind in Belfast, the company still exists but the ships and family connection have gone.
