Delph Locks
Delph Locks
Top of Delph Locks on the Dudley No 1 Canal, connects to the Stourbridge Canal.
Built in 1858, after the original route had to be abandoned due to mining subsidence. The top of the original route, is spanned by the bridge to the left, and contained "Nine Locks. The "New" route only contains "Eight" locks, and comes straight up the hill.
