ST6871 : Pasture land, Golden Valley

taken 14 years ago, near to Bridge Yate, South Gloucestershire, England

Pasture land, Golden Valley
Pasture land, Golden Valley
The valley of the River Boyd is known as Golden Valley, possibly because in late spring when the sun rises over Lansdown the whole valley takes on a greenish-gold hue when seen from the west. The village of Wick can be seen in the distance.
