Old Leigh is the name given to the older parts of Leigh-on-Sea between the seafront and the railway. It also includes the sheds for the Leigh cockle industry, as well as chandlers for the boating fraternity. The seafront path here gives good views of Brent Geese on the mudflats in winter. The church visible centre-right is St Clement's, Leigh.
