Foot suspension bridge Stair
Foot suspension bridge Stair
Stair hone mill was worked on both banks of the river Ayr. This bridge was the main connection for the workers. Tam O' Shanter sharpening stones were mined and milled here for export with Asian rubber plantations being major importers, presumably for sharpening workers' cutting implements.
