Built circa 1845/50, Gloucester Street ran from Gt Edward Street (later renamed into Victoria Street J3474 : Victoria Street, Belfast (2) to Montgomery Street (background). Now mainly the backs of offices, 100 years ago it was a much more interesting place. As well as houses it contained St. Comgall's Male National School, a Belfast Bank branch (the red building on the left), Clarke's Servants' Agency and the Royal Victoria Horse Bazaar and Motor Garage.
