Railway bridge at Dunmurry station

The railway between Belfast (Glengall Place) and Lisburn opened in 1839 as 6 2 gauge before being converted to the Irish standard gauge of 5 3 in 1849. The sandstone underbridge at Upper Dunmurry Lane (similar to one at Lambeg) seems to date from the opening. At the time the surrounding area was entirely rural.
