Finea bridge over the River Inny at the end of this street marks the Cavan/Westmeath border. It is mentioned in the Percy French song "Come Back Paddy Reilly (to Ballyjamesduff)" and is the place the legendary "Matt The Slasher" stood up to the Forces of Evil.
