SO6911 : Dead cow uncovered by the tide

taken 14 years ago, near to Newnham, Gloucestershire, England

Dead cow uncovered by the tide
Dead cow uncovered by the tide
Viewed through binoculars from the Old Passage Inn, I thought this was a tree trunk left behind by the retreating tide but on closer inspection it turned out to be the remains of a cow - just a skull remaining at the head end. Who knows where this will be when the tide turns again?
