“Temporary” car park between Winetavern Street, North Street (background) and Gresham Street. Partly on the site of the “Elephant Bar” which seems to have taken its name from the “Elephant Chambers” – a Victorian office building on the same site. This view is approximately north east towards Royal Avenue.
Nos 110-140 North Street, Belfast (proposed redevelopment)
A site, bounded by North Street, Gresham Street and Winetavern Street, currently (July 2018) comprising a vacant building and a vacant site used as a public car park.
There is a pre-planning public consultation about a proposed redevelopment to include office/workshop space and renovation of the existing building.
