NO1838 : River Isla via Open Canoe

taken 18 years ago, near to Woodside, Perth And Kinross, Scotland

River Isla via Open Canoe
River Isla via Open Canoe
Looking northwest along the lower River Isla towards where the river makes its final, near 90 degree, left turn and a near straight run to its end where it joins the Tay. Ahead, cross country power lines can just be seen crossing the river - the only blot on the landscape. In this area the slow river is meandering through the Perthshire farmlands with barely a building in sight.
