S6013 : Waterford station

taken 15 years ago, near to Waterford, Co Waterford, Ireland

Waterford station
Waterford station
This is the station building, named Plunkett station after one of the leading lights of the 1916 uprising that led to the creation of the Irish Free State. The station is not particularly accessible to Waterford, being on the opposite side of the River Suir to the main town. Therefore it only has a few trains a day, on the Limerick to Rosslare line.
