The Belmont Road roundabout, Belfast
The Belmont Road roundabout, Belfast
This roundabout is where the outer ring road crosses the Belmont Road. During peak hours the latter is used by peak traffic heading towards Newtownards and Bangor by the “back” road over Craigantlet. Very busy in all directions (and not always for the faint hearted) traffic on the Belmont Road can build up quite quickly. The view is outward.
The Belmont Road, Belfast

The Belmont Road runs from the Holywood Road, at Gelston’s Corner, through suburban east Belfast, to Craigantlet hill just outside the built-up area.
