NH9207 : Upstream from Cairngorm Club Footbridge

taken 18 years ago, 3 km from Coylumbridge, Highland, Scotland

Upstream from Cairngorm Club Footbridge
Upstream from Cairngorm Club Footbridge
The headwaters of the River Druie flow from the Cairngorms through Rothiemurchus Forest, an ancient, beautiful area in the Scottish Highlands, into the River Spey. The watercourse here appears to be known as Am Beanaidh: the photo is taken from the Cairngorm Club Footbridge, a part of the classic long distance walk through the Lairig Ghru from Coylumbridge to Braemar (or vice versa).
