Pond at the washpool
Pond at the washpool
This pond at an important five ways junction in Brycheiniog Forest was created about 1990 by damming one of the feeder streams to the Scithwen Brook. It has attracted a lot of wildlife - frogs mate here, damsel flies hover, mallard pass by. The oak sapling was planted later and is doing well.
