Turbine 1, Westmill Wind Farm, Watchfield
This is number 1 of 5 turbines that lie on a line from west to east 190 metres apart. This isn't the largest wind farm to be found in the UK nor the most obtrusive. The location isn't an area of outstanding natural beauty and is quite flat as well as fairly remote. I was told that it generates electricity 97% of the time so it plays its part in generating 'green' electricity.
