Shannon-Erne Waterway - Lock 9 Kilcare Upper
The former Ballyconnell-Ballinamore Canal was re-opened in 1994 as the Shannon Erne Waterway and is a symbolic link between the North and South of Ireland. A feature on the canal are the electrically operated locks and traffic lights.

Three men in a boat negotiate the top lock of the three lock flight.
