The view is looking south-east towards the Ogham Stone H6183 : Ogham Stone, Aghascrebagh

Local tales passed down during the ages tell of a large man who was tied to this stone for some bad deed and was guarded by a dozen men. He broke free and killed them all and they are buried in the graveyard on the opposite side of the road.
