Castlerock station was opened in 1853. What remains is a good example of Belfast and Northern Counties Railway architecture. The train is the 10.35 Belfast Gt. Victoria St Londonderry running some 21 minutes late. Shortly after leaving the station it will enter Castlerock tunnel (667 yards long)C7636 : Railway tunnel, Castlerock. The tunnel is in another square.
