taken 14 years ago, near to Mosside, Angus, Scotland

Harvesting a field of peas .
Harvesting a field of peas .
These pea harvesting machines work twenty four hours a day, in virtually all weather conditions, within a three month spell during the summer. Most people would ignore them in the fields, but when the pea "circus" machines relocate to another field they tend to dominate the roads they travel along.
