Dee Street, Belfast (1)
Dee Street came into existence towards the end of the 19th century replacing Club Row Lane (formerly Club Row Loanen). It runs from the Newtownards Road to the harbour estate and was once one of the main routes to the shipyard. This is the north western end, just after crossing the railway and the Sydenham bypass J3674 : The Dee Street flyover, Belfast. This view is likely to change if the proposed grade-separated junction on the Sydenham bypass is ever built.
The Sydenham bypass, Belfast

Approximately 2½ miles of dual carriageway forming part of the Belfast – Bangor Road. It runs from the end of the M3 to Tillysburn, parallel to the Belfast – Bangor railway and also serves the George Best Belfast City Airport. It replaced the Holywood Road as the main road to Holywood and Bangor. There are plans for major improvements at the junction with Dee Street.
