Middlepath Street, Belfast (old line)
Middlepath Street was widened in the 1960’s to provide an approach road to the Sydenham bypass. With the opening of the M3 J3574 : The M3, Belfast the access from the street to the bypass (seen in J3574 : Train near Bridge End, Belfast (2)) was closed. The old line is on the right, between the footpath (now leading to Bridge End station) and the bushes.
The Sydenham bypass, Belfast

Approximately 2½ miles of dual carriageway forming part of the Belfast – Bangor Road. It runs from the end of the M3 to Tillysburn, parallel to the Belfast – Bangor railway and also serves the George Best Belfast City Airport. It replaced the Holywood Road as the main road to Holywood and Bangor. There are plans for major improvements at the junction with Dee Street.
