Birmingham Gun Barrel Proof House
Birmingham Gun Barrel Proof House
There are few photographs of this important building on Geograph. Admittedly, it is difficult to photograph but this view was obtained through the bars of the gates and shows the fine frontage with a pair of old cannons used as bollards. Built in 1813 to test fire gun barrels (ie prove they were fit for purpose).
