Worbarrow Bay and Pondfield Cove exposes rocks of Upper Jurassic and Cretaceous age from around 140 million years old to 70 million years old. In the foreground are blocks of Chalk fallen in the landslip below Flower's Barrow. In the distance is Worbarrow Tout (ST8679) with Purbeck Limestone beds dipping towards the observer.
