SK0071 : New road furniture

The A537 seen from the layby opposite the Cat and Fiddle pub. A road probably familiar to most people - even though many will never have been there - from the inevitable winter radio traffic bulletins: "the A537 Buxton to Macclesfield road is closed by snow". A tempting, dramatic, swooping and soaring road across the moors it has been much loved of motorcyclists with, alas, the inevitable fatal consequences for some. It now sports a 50 mph limit with average speed check cameras to try and control things, incongruous as they look in such a setting.
