Belfast train at Mosney
Back in 1948 the GNR(I) built a station to serve the new Butlin’s holiday camp O1669 : Mosney - former Butlin's Holiday at Mosney between Balbriggan and Drogheda. On a loop off the main line, it was served by local trains only. The premises remained in use as a holiday camp (open to day-visitors as well as residents) after the departure of Butlin’s. During the summer some cross-Border trains called. This is the 09.00 Belfast – Dublin stopping train re-joining the main line after calling at the station. The Google map lacks any detail.
